| Alcohol |
To sell alcoholic beverages or wine on FoxyHub, you must have a licence and the license number must be shown in your listing. Alcohol and wine can be sold only within New Zealand. |
| Animals |
You may list for sale on FoxyHub, domestic pets and pet accessories. No animal parts or organs may be listed, apart from skins, hides and goods made of nonexotic leather. |
| Brand names |
Listings on FoxyHub should not include brand names or other words in the title solely for the purpose of attracting attention. |
| Clothing, used |
Used clothing (except for underwear and swimwear) may be listed on FoxyHub as long as the item has been thoroughly cleaned. |
| Counterfeit items |
FoxyHub does not permit the listing of any items that are not genuine. This covers replicas, counterfeit and bootleg items. If the seller cannot verify the authenticity of an item, it must not be listed on FoxyHub. |
| Descramblers |
Listings that offer items that can descramble cable and satellite programming without authorisation or payment, as well as information on ‘how to’ gain illegal access to such programming is not permitted on FoxyHub. |
| Drugs |
The sale of prohibited drugs and equipment related to drug manufacture or use must not be listed on FoxyHub. This applies to any controlled substance, whether herbal or chemical. FoxyHub strongly enforces this provision. |
| Fireworks |
Fireworks of any kind may not be listed on FoxyHub |
| Food |
Members who list food items must ensure that their activities conform to Federal and State laws concerning labelling and exporting. Perishable items may not be listed. |
| Gaming devices |
It is unlawful in New Zealand to own, sell or exchange any gaming device that is a game of chance unless the seller is licensed to do so. Licenses are issued by the governing body for gaming in each State. |
| Human bodies or parts |
No human bodies or body parts may be listed for sale on FoxyHub. Human hair in lockets or skeletons used for medical purposes may be listed. |
| Law enforcement paraphernalia |
FoxyHub does not permit the listing of uniforms, badges or official equipment related to law enforcement, emergency services, security or military services in New Zealand or New Zealand. |
| Movie prints |
Only copyright holders or licensed sellers may list 35mm and 70mm prints on FoxyHub. Proof of authority to sell may be requested by FoxyHub. |
| Postage stamps |
‘Washed’ postage stamps may not be listed on FoxyHub as ‘uncancelled’. To offer such stamps for sale is in breach of the Commonwealth Criminal code. |
| Recalled items |
Any item subject to recall for safety or other reasons by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs (http://www.consumeraffairs.govt.nz/) may not be listed on FoxyHub. |
| Right to resell |
Before offering items such as airline tickets, sporting, concert or other event tickets for sale on FoxyHub, ensure that you have the right to resell. This provision includes OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) software unless listed as accompanying related hardware. |
| Software, academic |
Do not list software sold at heavily discounted prices to students, academic staff and educational institutions unless you are authorised to do so. |
| Software, unauthorised copies |
You cannot trade software designed to enable unauthorised copying of copyright materials that would breach intellectual property rights. It is unlawful to sell pirated, backup or bootlegged copies of games software, movies, television programmes, and photographs or replicated artwork. |
| Stolen goods |
Stolen goods may not be listed on FoxyHub. FoxyHub will fully support law enforcement officers who seek to prosecute any person who knowingly attempts to sell stolen items on this site. |
| Surveillance equipment |
FoxyHub does not permit the listing of any products designed to record the actions of others without their knowledge or consent. Hidden transmitting devices are illegal under federal law. |
| Tobacco |
No items containing tobacco may be listed on FoxyHub’s website, however, tobacco-related items, e.g., cigar boxes, etc., may be listed. |
| Wildlife |
FoxyHub recognizes that uncontrolled international trade in wildlife and wildlife products threatens species with extinction. No selling or buying of wildlife and wildlife products is permitted on this Site. FoxyHub views this matter as very serious and any breaches of this prohibition will result in termination of the member’s rights.
