FoxyHub PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is important to FoxyHub. We have created this policy to assure you of our commitment to protecting your privacy.

• When you apply for membership in FoxyHub, you need to read this Privacy Policy. This privacy statement forms part of the FoxyHub Terms & Conditions and must be accepted at the time of applying for membership in FoxyHub.
• We care about your privacy and are committed to protecting it. In the normal course of our business, we collect, store, utilise and disclose information about you to other parties. This document describes what information we gather about you and how you may use the information we supply to you.

• “Site” in this context means the FoxyHub website with the URL of www.FoxyHub.com, together with any other websites FoxyHub may create from time to time.

 
INFORMATION ABOUT YOU

• FoxyHub does not rent or sell your personal details to any third party at any time. Disclosure of account and other personal information may occur where required to comply with the applicable law; with FoxyHub’s Terms & Conditions; or to protect the rights and safety of FoxyHub, its members or others.
• In the ordinary course of our business, we collect and hold information about you, including demographic information. We only collect information that will make your experience as a member of FoxyHub safe and secure.
• When you register using the User Agreement Application, we ask you to provide contact information, including your email and postal addresses. Personal information about you and/or your transactions will be fully encrypted and it will never knowingly be released to any outside persons.  
• If you decide to bid, buy or sell on FoxyHub, we may automatically track your account usage. This information allows us to research and analyse usage of our Site.

UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION
To update the personal information you submitted on registration, please go to your account preferences page. Here you can update your: email and/or postal address, name, company address, city, state, postcode, phone numbers, gender, password, and any other information that may be required from time to time. Note that if you change your User ID (by closing your account), we will retain your former ID on file and track it along with your updated ID. This ensures that members have one FoxyHub account only.

YOUR PASSWORD
You are responsible for all actions taken with your username, email address and password. For your own protection, FoxyHub strongly recommends that you do not disclose your password to any third party. Should you do so, you will be held responsible for all actions transacted using that information. This could involve you in a legally binding situation. Should your password be compromised in any way, please go to your account preferences immediately to create a new password.

COMMUNICATING WITH YOU
FoxyHub will communicate with you by email during the auction process and as the result of business transactions relating to auctions. From time to time, FoxyHub will send you other communications deemed to be of interest to members, including promotional materials from our affiliates or partners. Please click on Contact Us with any questions, concerns or compliments you might have.

REMOVAL
On advice from a member that the member no longer wishes to receive material not directly associated with buying and selling, FoxyHub will immediately remove your name from that service. At any time, you may opt in or opt out of all or some FoxyHub services. To change your options, go to your account preferences and check the appropriate boxes.

NO SPAM
FoxyHub provides for you to send links to the Site or to a specific auction to ‘a friend’. We do not collect or store email addresses related to such activity. For your protection and the protection of other members, you may not use this email forwarding provision or any other forwarding provision to send spam or any material that violates the governing law or our Terms & Conditions.  

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
All financial transactions with FoxyHub are protected by encryption. FoxyHub does not hold your credit card details and FoxyHub staff have no access to such information.

COOKIES
Cookies are small files that remain in your computer and are recognized by our server each time you log on to the FoxyHub Site. This enables us to personalize and improve our members’ experience. A cookie does not give us any personally identifiable information about you. It records your IP address, the computer platform you use (e.g., Windows or Mac), the browser you are using (e.g., Microsoft Explorer or Mozilla), and what domain you are accessing our site from. We use this information to: track traffic patterns on our site, ensure that the most relevant information is made available to you, and give you access to the full range of FoxyHub services.

OTHER USES OF INFORMATION

• When members logon, their IP address is recorded. This information can be used to track users who abuse FoxyHub and its systems. Where there is suspicion of fraud, legal authorities can use this information in conjunction with the user’s ISP to obtain further details about the user. This information is stored securely and is never provided to other members.
• When you post messages in our forum or feedback areas, we will record and store that information.
• We may create a unique file for you and store in it correspondence you send us or correspondence and postings from others about your activities on the Site.
• We will, from time to time, gather non-personally-identifiable data relating to activity on our Site and disclose such information to our advertisers.

CONCERNING ADVERTISERS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS
Our privacy policy applies to our site only. On our Site you will find links to our advertisers or business partners. It is important that you review their privacy practices before you disclose to them any personally-identifiable information.

CHANGING THIS POLICY
As FoxyHub expands, from time to time we will revise this policy. We will advise members whenever our Privacy Policy is amended by emailing them and by posting the changes in our forum discussion board, Site Announcements.
