Create a business directory listing

You can create a free listing for your business from the sell page. Businesses in the business directory be found using a list view or using the interactive map view.

Enter your basic business details, including any optional information, such as a linked web address that you want to include to enhance your listing. You can upload graphics, such as a company logo or staff photo.

The directory service is free, but listings enhancements have fees.

How to create a business directory listing

 1.  Go to the sell page and click on the link to create a business directory listing.

2.  Select a category for your business using the drop-down menus.

3.  Enter details about your business. Put your company name in the title box and optionally add a subtitle. Include your business location, open hours and a short description about what your business does. You can include a business phone number for free, but extra details have small fees attached (as noted on the form). If you enter an email address, a form will be created with the listing that lets members send an email query to that address (the actual email address is not shown).

4.  Upload graphics such as a company logo, photos of staff and premises, or any relevant product images for your business identity.

5.  Add any optional features that you would like to include for your listing to give it a stronger visual impact.

6.  Check that all the details of your listing are correct. If you want to change any, click edit. Otherwise, click the button to start your listing.

7.  You will see a message that your listing is successful. From there you can view it online or choose another option.

8. This is how your listing will appear in map view, list view and in its full public form.
The business directory service is linked to Google Maps so customers can zoom in to see your physical location.
