FoxyHub runs on community participation, so the more you trade the better your profile will become. Becoming authenticated and address verified will help your profile as a serious trader and implicitly your product's worthiness.
Description
FoxyHub provides a range of descriptive fields for you to complete for a listing. Some are required and some are optional. You must also add a text summary where you can describe the history of the product and pitch it to potential buyers. We suggest you include the item's dimensions where appropriate.
Images
You can upload multiple photos of the item that you want to sell, but their combined size must be no larger than 500kb. Photos that you have uploaded previously will still be available on the FoxyHub server. Good photos will help you sell your product, so it is better if you can provide an image. The thumbnails in the listings summary section can be enlarged if the original is bigger. Some digital cameras have custom settings that help you photograph an image at a resolution suitable for inclusion on an online auction site like FoxyHub. It can be useful to include a recognisable object in the photo that provides a gauge of the product's dimensions.
Shipping details
You can attract buyers by doing a bit of research into the delivery costs of an item. There is an option on the listings set-up page to indicate that you will ship products free within your area. If you select that option, you may want to include the delivery cost in your reserve price. Some users may prefer to collect an item if they can, to ensure it isn't damaged in transit.
Pricing
The best strategy for attracting bidders is to avoid overpricing the item initially. You can even start an auction at $1 if you think there will be plenty of interest: once buyers start bidding you will have their attention and you are more likely to get a sale. A fair buy now price can generate an instant sale to a member who is shopping for a particular item that may be hard to find.
Listing options
FoxyHub provides options for dressing up your listing with colours, bold text or getting featured on the homepage. The extra features have small fees attached, but they will help get your product noticed in areas with lots of competition.
Relist
If at first you don't succeed, try again. It is easy to relist an item that doesn't sell the first time. You can select automatic relisting and you are only charged one set of listing fees when the item sells.
Auto-extend
By selecting the auto-extend option you can ensure that active bidders aren't accidentally cut off at the last minute. An auction will extend by two minutes when there has been bidding within the two minutes prior to its completion time. This function will continue until there is a clear two-minute period after the scheduled completion time.
Become a store
If you have a feedback rating of 150, a verified address and a positive account balance, you should consider becoming a store. This will give you a more detailed
sales summary.
Allowable items
Some items aren't permitted for sale on FoxyHub. Check the
prohibited items list to ensure your item is compliant.
