Searching

FoxyHub is designed for easy navigation, with tabs and linked categories to guide the user. You can, however, use search tools if you know what you are looking for.

The main search box is at the top of each page, and there are several custom search boxes around the site that are used for specific purposes, such as the one for finding open homes on the property page. On some pages you can check an only in this category box to restrict the scope of the search. If you get no results you are taken to a page where you can customise your search further. There is also a page of specialty searches for residential and vehicle listings.

In the browse panel on the homepage and buy page, you can click on a magnifying glass icon beside each category to open a search box for that category.

The community forums and help pages are both individually searchable -- just click on the tab for each section and use the search box at the bottom of the page.

FoxyHub lets you see what other members are searching for with summaries of the top 50 site-wide searches from the previous day, the past week and the past month. The popular searches link appears in the recent searches side panel and at the top of most pages.

Your personal searches appear in the recent searches side panel. You can disable this feature by clicking on the link provided. To turn it back on, go into your account preferences page, make the selections required and click the save button (the panel will re-appear after your next search).

You can also track recently viewed listings as you browse the site. If you want to have another look at an item that you have recently browsed, click on the recently viewed listings link on your account page or the side panel.
