Buying items online can be difficult at the best of times, and with second-hand goods the problem of knowing exactly what you are buying is even more acute.
In order to assist members, FoxyHub uses a feedback system, so members can provide positive or negative feedback on each other and help each other maintain a high level of trust. If a seller has a lot of positive feedback, you can be sure their items for sale are accurately described and realistically priced. You can see a summary of feedback history by holding your cursor over the number beside a member's username. If you click on the number you will be taken to a page with more detailed information on the member's status and other details, such as other items that they are selling.
FoxyHub also provides authentication and address verification for users. Authenticated and verified members get icons beside their usernames to indicate this, so look for these when considering joining an auction.
Members who have done a lot of trading with good feedback can register as a store, which recommends them as reliable.
During an auction, you can ask a seller questions about the item by clicking on the ask seller a question link -- so you can indirectly learn more about the seller that way. If the seller replies, you will be emailed with the response directly by FoxyHub and your query will also appear on the listing.
If at any time you become suspicious of a seller, you can click on the report this listing link at the bottom of a listing and report your concerns to FoxyHub.
